Every member matched

One mentor. Your cadence. Zero applications.

Every ProSales member gets matched with a mentor from the Sales Scholars cohort or the ProSales exec board. Pod size scales with how many volunteer each semester. Cadence is yours to set. Starts the week you register.

The mentor pool

Two sources. One match.

Mentors come from the Sales Scholars cohort and the ProSales exec board. You get matched with one, based on fit.

15-20 / year

Sales Scholars

Members of the elite Sales Scholars cohort inside W. P. Carey's Professional Sales Program. They've done the competitions, the internships, the interview reps, and the job hunt. One step ahead professionally.

What they bring
  • Career strategy for the industry you're targeting
  • Resume, LinkedIn, and first-round interview reps
  • The internship and full-time process, start to finish
7 directors

ProSales Exec board

Members of the 2026-27 executive board. They run the club day to day, know every sponsor, every event, and every system. One step ahead of you inside the club.

What they bring
  • Which events are actually worth your Tuesday night
  • How to navigate points, Crimson Tier, and the competition pipeline
  • The unwritten rules of the club and the program
How pod size works

Proportional, not forced.

The rule

Pod size is a function of how many Scholars and exec board members volunteer to mentor that semester. More volunteers means smaller pods. Fewer volunteers means larger ones. The match system adapts.

Worked example: if 18 mentors opt in and there are 54 mentees, that lands at pods of three. If 12 opt in for the same 54, pods of four or five.

Why this works

Pod mentorship isn't a downgrade from 1-on-1. It's a different format. You get the mentor's time plus the peer-learning of two or three classmates who are at your exact stage. Career questions get asked once, answered for everyone.

And if your pod mentor says “come grab coffee one-on-one,” nobody's stopping you. The structure is the floor, not the ceiling.

The rollout

Three steps. Under a month.

From registration to first mentor meeting, no more than four weeks. Usually much less.

01

Intake form

You tell us your year, major, career interest, and what you want out of a mentor. Takes five minutes. No essay.

02

Matched by interest

We match you with a Sales Scholar or exec board mentor based on industry fit, career stage, and availability. Pod size scales with who volunteers that semester.

03

You set the rhythm

Coffee, text, Zoom, whatever works. Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly. The pair or pod picks the cadence that actually gets kept.

Mentorship starts the week you register.

No waitlist. No application. Register, fill the intake form, and your mentor or pod lands on your calendar inside a month.
